About

At BASTU, we celebrate the rich history of saunas, a tradition deeply rooted in Finnish culture. Our saunas are inspired by the ancient practice of 'löyly' (the steam created in a sauna), offering a modern interpretation of this timeless wellness experience.

Bastu" is the Finnish word for sauna.

The word "bastu" carries a strong cultural significance in Finland, representing relaxation, social interaction, and a connection to nature.

Fiery Sun

INFRARED

An Infrared Sauna is a device that produce the heat from a spectrum of light via conversion.
The spectrum of infrared light ultilized in an Infrared Sauna is 7-14 microns which is the
same radiant heat discharged by the earth, but it is only a small and highly beneficial
segment of the light spectrum discharged by the sun. The infrared light segment resides just
beneath the visible level and permeates the body up to 3 inches, where it transforms into
heat for deeper detoxification and other therapeutic benefits.

STEAM

The principle of a wet steam room is to expand the
user' s pores, eliminate toxins from the body, and
promote blood circulation and metabolism through
the contact between steam and the skin, thereby
achieving the goal of fitness and beauty. Every Finnish sauna has the classic heating stove and rocks supply. The rocks are placed
in the stove and work with electricity to maintain deep and thorough heating. Once the
rocks reach the desired temperature, watering on the rocks to create steam. Although the
basic operation is traditional, there's plenty of technology, including temperature control
and a timer. This time-tested traditional Finnish sauna will bring you years of comfort.
